for themselves or for others—

This is a kind of wish or hope,

not necessarily a statement of fact.

Mother’s Day—

can it truly be happy?

It depends on 

what kind of person the mother is;

and it also depends on 

what kind of person her child is.

Do the mother and her child fit well together 

in some aspects of life?

每逢母親節，

大家都對自己或别人，

說句「母親節快樂」，

這是一句祝福或期許的說話。

未必是事實的陳述。

母親節一定可以快樂嗎？

要看母親是怎樣的人；

也要看其子女是怎樣的人。

母親和孩子在生活上，

有些方面有好好的契合嗎？
