How long will a love affair last?

God may know, but

the people involved do not know.

So many people play it safe, treating it

as an interlude in life,

without any indication of its duration.

Time is like a dream

but she enjoys physical fitness.

but she enjoys reading Japanese comics.

She is not good at Chinese literature,

but she is fond of writing new-style Chinese poems.

She is not good at the English language,

but she likes watching English films.

She is not good at arithmetic,

but she is very calculating.

Smiling April Lady

April is a season of examinations.

April comes again this year.

Thousands of students are taking public examinations,

fighting for entry to universities.

I no longer need to take any public examinations.

But when April comes,

those sweet puppy love memories

always reappear vividly in my mind,

reminding me how sweet I was when

I studied hard for the examinations in

the public library's study room,

with the smiling April lady sitting nearby.

四月滿溢的甜蜜笑容 

  四月是考試的季節。

今年的四月此刻又來了。
萬千學生現正努力大學入學試。

現在那些公開考試早已遠我而去了。

但是，每年每當四月到臨，
那些初戀甜蜜的回憶，都湧現眼前。

當我在公立圖書館的溫習室溫書時，
我是多麼幸福：

坐在身旁的有那一個那麼可愛的女生，
她的笑容滿溢著四月的甜蜜。
