"yes or no" vs "yeses. and nos."

In some law courts,
barristers sometimes ask
opposing witnesses questions
that only require a "yes" or "no" answer.

Such a question is typically
a "closed question."

A series of these questions can be designed
to form a multi-dimensional leading question.

Many "yeses." or "nos." answers can be
woven into complex statements or narratives.

Be alert!

Off Course - Yes - No

Yes-No / When Love Ends - Oda Kazumasa

What did you just say?
I was thinking about something else
and staring blankly at you
Is there someone you like?
If you don't want to answer,
just pretend you didn
't hear
Can I hold you?
Can I fall in love with you?
Can I hold you?
Where is your heart right now?
I'm frustrated and can't speak properly
But your words become my joy
Look, you're still laughing,
like you're joking
I know your scent now
I know your scent now
Can I hold you?
Can I fall in love with you?
Can I hold you?
Summer is passing by
Ah, ah, time flows silently,
enveloping the two of us
That's right, it's a little cold
Thank you for today,
I'll see you tomorrow
Don't ask me anything,
don't look at anything,
nothing
I won't make you sad
Can I hold you?
Where is your heart right now?
Can I hold you?
Can I fall in love?
Can I hold you?
Where is your heart right now?
Can I hold you?
Can I fall in love?
Can I hold you?
Where is your heart right now?
Can I hold you?
Can I fall in love?
