Longer than the whole life

Love comes from affection,

it’s something we can’t fully control.

Feelings come from heartfelt emotion,

it’s something we can control

and cultivate deliberately.

To stay together for the long term,

it can be either “lasting love”

or “lasting feelings.”

But there should be mutual real care—

and two hearts in harmony.

May our love last for a long time.
