Mr Hong - From son to father

“I actually feel bad that I didn't spend much time with my dad.  That's why now I spend a lot of time focused on my mom......"

Mr. Hong: ..and you're playing a few songs. But before we jump into that, I want to talk a little bit about the moment you found out you were going to be a dad and what was going on through your mind?

Dad: Obviously I was excited, I was blessed

Dad: But on the other hand, I was a little worried - worried about health, worried about are we fit as parents

Dad: And obviously when you came along it became even bigger

Dad: I actually feel bad that I didn't spend much time with my dad

Dad: That's why now I spend a lot of time focused on my mom because without them, we would not be who we are today

Dad: If we decided to have a kid on our own, we need to take care of them

Dad: And give the best to them. We owe them, that's for sure we owe

Dad: But you don't owe us, because there isn't a contract or IOU in place for you to pay me back, there's nothing like that

Dad: But if you deep down feel that way, it's okay

Dad: Just like how I felt I owe her (grandma)

Dad: That's why she keeps telling me 'oh don't come, I feel bad about you coming!

Dad: I say, look mom, the reason why I'm here, I'm just trying to be appreciative of what you did for us

Dad: Not repay, to certain extent, just enjoy furthermore of our relationship.
